Notes for Aluminum Profile’s Section Design

Here are six main aspects we should notice and pay attention to for aluminum profile's section design.
 
1. The manufacturer production ability should be given full consideration when we set tolerance. For aluminum extrusion is molded and shaped in hot condition, the mold product tolerance is relatively bigger that that of rubber parts and hardware.
 
2. It is appropriate that the material thickness is thick. In principle, it is more than 0.8 mm. The material owns less deformation, better crowded conditions and amount productivity.
 
3. The difference of hollow tube material’s thickness can not be too big. In general, it is not more than 4 times, otherwise molding is much difficult to be dressed and extruded.
 
4. Before die sinking, surface process effect must be provided in details. This is because that surface process effect influences the determination of early extrusion mould clamping line and the dimension values of extrusion mold and hardware die mould dimension values. (Oil injection can make the aperture of products smaller, appearance larger and inner cavity narrower. By contrast, oxidation caused the aperture of products bigger, appearance smaller and inner cavity wider. Sand blasting can make the aperture of products larger, the body thinner or make itself deform. And the material leave allowance is needed to be considered if the wire drawing process is used.
 
5. The extrusion material can not have the absolute Angle. The pointed ridge aluminum profile in the design has around 0.3 R angle. By using the subsequent polishing, oxidation, fuel injection and other technology, R angle could be as high as 0.4.
 
6. The hollow and solid parts proportion of aluminum extrusion type can not be too wide and its deviation can not be too large. It depends on the actual structure.
