Improvement of Energy-saving for Aluminum Doors & Windows

Nowadays, aluminum doors and windows are more and more popular among customers. Obviously, aluminum doors and windows have many advantages, including excellent performance, light weight, good appearance and durability and no pollution to the environment. For manufactures, how to improve the energy-saving ability of aluminum doors and windows and offer customers better products and service is very important.
 
1. Pay attention to the selection of raw material
 
(1) The double-glazed window should be promoted. In northern part of China, the Low-E double-glazed window should be promoted, while in southern China, where has abundant sunlight, the sun-reflective glass window should be popularized. In developing countries, the unidirectional glass and clear glass were no longer been used in windows’ production, for they are not energy-saving and not conducive to improve living condition.
 
(2) Material of frame should be strong enough and have excellent insulation. It not only should be easy to fabricate into various shapes but also should be easy to recycle and environmentally friendly. The thermal insulation properties of the frame of aluminum should be improved and the frames are suitable to be made into composite type.
 
(3) Promote the double-glazed window which made of double-sealed glass and polysulfide insulating glass. The spacer bars should be a continuous corner structure, if the window has four joints, the joint must be sealed with butyl rubber. The single sealed insulating glass and glass sealed with silicone rubber are not suitable to make aluminum doors and window, for their service life is too short.
 
2. Improve the structural design
 
Another important measurement is to improve the structural design, change the previous design, which focus on saving labors and material, and only pursue the low cost. Try to change sliding windows to casement ones, and achieve the diverse design system with single, double, and triple layers.
